I’m coeliac and have had a reaction here before. The vegan sausage labelled on the menu as gluten free was not. This was double checked with staff too. This did happen in 2023 but obviously this has really put me off. They offer gluten free options like cake etc. I’d like to think this was a one off and it was early on during a change in management but still not good enough for a coeliac to risk.

Beautiful Mill. Overpriced, mediocre food and awful coffee. After numerous visits, trying different things on the menu and in the cafe I’ve decided to leave a review. How can you ruin a latte? The answer, make the milk so scorching hot, it burns (you know that high pitched screeching sound you sometimes hear in coffee shops - that’s the steam wand scorching the milk. Do it too long and it burns). The hot food in the counter is overpriced and rock bottom bog standard. Bland and clearly sat there all day. Save yourself the money and get a Greggs from the shops 10mins away! As for the coffee. It was so hot it burned and the milk was burnt. The place was busy enough. The cakes. Great selection if you’re gluten free or vegan but this is a cafe/restaurant from a cereal producer… have the selection but offer some actual cakes made with the stuff. That’s like saying you’re going to a cafe in a butchers’ and they only sell vegan food?! Really?! The location saves this place 1-2 stars. The service is terrible. Tables are dirty. All in all if it wasn’t so beautiful in the summer I’d avoid. I won’t be eating here again. Not until I see a “new menu” sign!

Lovely clean cafe/restaurant, airy feel, great to catch up with family and friends. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It serves hot food and cakes and coffee, at a good price with a good variety. Also had gluten free options. The Staff were friendly and welcoming. A good garden space to wander around for all the family. Lovely little shop to buy gifts, seeds, Jordon Mill products and plants for the garden. Easy to find and good parking.
