+ The nice, cozy outdoor area + The selection and taste of the cakes + Everything is gluten-free + Milk alternatives for coffee BUT - Price for a slice of cake - €1 surcharge for oat milk If you drink a cappuccino with oat milk, you pay €5.20. So you pay for the milk like you would for a regular cappuccino – but there's no cow's milk at all – plus a €1 surcharge. A cappuccino contains approximately 80 ml of milk, and 1000 ml (1 l) of Barista oat milk costs approximately €2.50. Therefore, in my opinion, the price premium is unjustified.

The selection of cakes and tarts is large, making the decision difficult. Especially for our daughter with celiac disease! Usually, if you have celiac disease, there is nothing you can safely eat in a 'normal' café. Things are different here for a change. Everything works here! Simply fantastic! Everything we tried was super tasty and really good. The pieces are neat and the price-performance ratio is right - even compared to 'normal' cake without the extra surcharge for the 'gluten-free' label. The café has a large outdoor area. Inside it doesn't look particularly chic, but rather has the charm of a breakfast room. Personally, I find this irrelevant because I value cleanliness and good food more than good decoration. And everything worked out perfectly for me and my family. Thank you for that. We'd love to come back when we're nearby.

Very good cakes! Exclusively gluten-free. Large pieces of cake at a fair price. The outdoor area is great for children (adjacent playground). There are also beach chairs here so you can sit down and eat/drink. I highly recommend the Frisian cake with plum jam. Parking spaces are rare but you can easily park behind the dike where you can park at the beach. We really enjoy being here.
