Their menu featured many gluten-free items. While placing my order, I asked to confirm that the items were indeed gluten-free and was informed that they are cooked in a shared fryer. This is not safe for individuals with Celiac disease and could cause serious illness. I would not have known this if I hadn't asked. A more accurate label would be 'GFO' (gluten-free option), excluding all items cooked in the shared fryer.

This spot is AMAZING. Their website shows that their motto is, "We treat everyone like family because that is what Puerto Rican food means to us!" and it really shines through with comforting meals full of flavorful and hearty ingredients. And their tres leches cake was one of the most amazing things we've ever tried.
