A solid 4 star venue, recently under new management they are trying hard to change the perception and fortunes of the establishment. The appearance of the brasserie is bright and perhaps a little garish, a bold move when such things can be quite divisive. The staff are friendly and attentive, quick to take your food order and food then follows shortly after. The are vegan, vegetarian, and allergen (gluten/wheat/dairy) advisories with good alternatives. The wheat free Eggs Royale was very delicious and well presented, but the serving was smaller than other venues (the bread was a single thing piece cut into two) and left me wanting. The coffee was excellent and so too was the smoothie that I ordered. The cost was very reasonably and not to expensive either. Friends enjoyed a Turkish breakfast that was very generous on proportions and selection of food on the plate.
In conclusion, this is a fine venue for a breakfast, decent food, well presented and tasty, a nice setting, bright venue with friendly staff, and so a solid 4 stars. 5 star would have been a selection on baked goods (a piece of wheat free cake for the coffee would have been great) and a decent offering on the wheat -free bread alternative.
