KUUBS MODERN MEDITERRANEAN

Nice little restaurant with very good food and a warm, friendly crew. No gluten free pita so a little disappointing but the bowls are great on their own.

Cashier told us nothing on the menu was gluten free. In response to the "response from the owner" I was told on June 25 at 12:00pm by the staff working the register that there were no gluten free items on the menu. I told them I had a wheat allergy and needed to know which items were gluten free and she said none of them, no gluten free items here. We turned around and she let us leave with that information.

You will want to eat here (or take out perhaps) because of Kuubs' food. Both my dad and I ordered the lamb kabobs with rice as our side (next time I will order a salad and we can split each). We also ordered 4 falafel with a side of hummus. Kuubs uses chicken peas/garbanzo beans to make their falafel. However, the falafel was perfectly seasoned and moist. The lamb was also perfectly seasoned, moist, and grilled to perfection. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and were very friendly. I also noticed they hand-cut their own fries. For those of you who have gluten allergies, you don't have to worry about frozen food in this establishment. Everything appeared fresh. Still, always double-check when ordering. The atmosphere was a wee bit sterile, but I'm used to a more vibrant esthetic. They did have music playing in the background (Afghani??) that was a nice touch. However, atmosphere is at the bottom of my list when deciding whether or not to go back to a restaurant. As long as the food is good (our food was a 10 out of 10) and the people working there are nice (they were), I'm going back. We definitely will be working our way through Kuubs' menu.
