You will want to eat here (or take out perhaps) because of Kuubs' food. Both my dad and I ordered the lamb kabobs with rice as our side (next time I will order a salad and we can split each). We also ordered 4 falafel with a side of hummus. Kuubs uses chicken peas/garbanzo beans to make their falafel. However, the falafel was perfectly seasoned and moist. The lamb was also perfectly seasoned, moist, and grilled to perfection.
The staff greeted us with warm smiles and were very friendly.
I also noticed they hand-cut their own fries. For those of you who have gluten allergies, you don't have to worry about frozen food in this establishment. Everything appeared fresh. Still, always double-check when ordering.
The atmosphere was a wee bit sterile, but I'm used to a more vibrant esthetic. They did have music playing in the background (Afghani??) that was a nice touch.
However, atmosphere is at the bottom of my list when deciding whether or not to go back to a restaurant. As long as the food is good (our food was a 10 out of 10) and the people working there are nice (they were), I'm going back. We definitely will be working our way through Kuubs' menu.
