Kafka Café in Sandefjord offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot to relax with friends. The staff is friendly and approachable, although communication might be a bit challenging if you only speak Norwegian, as some staff members seem unfamiliar with the language. One notable downside was the lack of clarity around allergy information; when asked if the nachos contained gluten, no one on staff could provide an answer—something to keep in mind if you have celiac disease. The food itself was good overall. The burger was flavorful but a bit greasy, losing a surprising amount of water that may have also contributed to the slightly soggy fries. On the positive side, the onion rings were exceptional and definitely a highlight. Adding to the unique experience, there was an amusing moment when two elderly women entered with a shopping cart, parking it in the middle of the café before sitting down—a quirky interaction that added a fun, unexpected element to the visit.
