Kalka Palms Hotel Motel

We called in after landing from Sunshine Coast and my son recommended the food. Was late? About 8pm and three adults one child, and we had a long drive ahead of us to get home. We were so pleased with every aspect. The food was very good value, and was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked big steaks and very tasty fresh FRESH salad. Chips were cooked in fresh oil and crunchy. Best sweet potato chips I've ever had. There are more gluten free options than not which was fantastic as we have a gluten intolerant person who always struggles to get a decent choice. One person had fish and the batter was perfection. The place it self was slightly dated but beautifully clean and very welcoming. The kids play area had really good toys and the staff was just so happy and genuinely cared that you were happy. I am SO happy I found this place and we will be going there to eat every time we go to Rocky. Especially at that price!!!
