When I browsed Kenpachi’s menu online, everything I was interested in looked like it probably had something containing gluten, which I can’t eat. But then I saw that other reviews claimed the restaurant is very accommodating towards gluten free requests, and it really is! Not only did the waitstaff let us know they could modify anything to be gluten free, but the space was small and intimate enough (but not obtrusively so) that the staff and chefs were all within earshot to be attentive to our needs. I was able to order exactly what I wanted the way I liked it, communication was smooth, the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was obvious they care about the people they serve and providing them a wonderful experience. This place is a gem and I’ll be going back for sure!
