A Sweet Spot for Celiacs—Tasty, Thoughtful, and Friendly
We had a lovely experience at Karen’s Gluten Free Bake Shop. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. I had a question about the apple fiber in their sandwich bread and while they didn’t have a detailed answer about its purpose, the bread itself spoke volumes—super soft and delicious, which is such a treat for gluten-free bread!
The chicken salad sandwich was top notch, and the cupcakes were packed with flavor—rich, moist, and satisfying. I also tried the espresso cake; the taste was great, though the texture was a bit dry and grainy for my preference.
Overall, it’s amazing to have a dedicated gluten-free spot like this that caters to both locals and visitors with celiac disease. Wonderful job by Karen and her team—thank you for making safe and tasty treats that don’t compromise on quality!
