What a great experience we had at Kashi RVC! Felicia was amazing. Ask for her! My son has a gluten allergy and she was so careful and accommodating . The food is always delicious.

I was really hopeful about my experience here, especially since I have a severe gluten allergy and always make a point to communicate that clearly when dining out. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple request turned into a situation that left me feeling both disappointed and unsafe. When I asked the server if the soy sauce on the table was gluten-free, she initially said yes—that all of them were gluten-free and sodium-free. I asked her to please double-check, and she later came back to say they actually weren’t gluten-free. That was already concerning, especially since she mentioned she’s gluten-free herself. When I ordered, I made it very clear that everything needed to be gluten-free just for me. I asked specifically for a spicy tuna roll with no crunchies, no tempura—clearly stating I had an allergy. She repeated my order and assured me that everything she submitted was gluten-free. But when the food arrived, my spicy tuna roll did have tempura crunchies inside. I didn’t realize until I had already eaten two pieces and noticed the crunch. For someone with a gluten allergy, this isn’t just a small oversight—it has real health consequences that I’ll be dealing with for days. Yes, the manager did remove the item from the bill, but that doesn’t undo the mistake or the impact on my body. It’s honestly upsetting that something so straightforward wasn’t taken seriously. Food allergies are not a preference—they’re a health risk. When someone communicates their needs clearly, they deserve to be heard and respected. I hope this review encourages better attention to detail for guests with dietary restrictions. This wasn’t just a simple mistake—it was a careless one, and it shouldn’t happen.
