Gluten free fish and chips very nice, not had fish and chips from a chippy in years. Asking for gluten free was clearly an inconvenience for the man cooking it though based on the face he pulled when I asked for it, made me feel like an inconvenience. Put me off coming back however the food was lovely and so was the young girl who served me

Always swore by this place but last weekend 22/6/2025 we had a regular cod &chips& gravy..(I had asked for haddock) A gluten free fish &chips and a kids fish &chips. Two portions of gravy, two teas and a can of coke ...£45! My fish was overcooked, the batter was brown and the fish dry, plus the chips, usually top notch, were under-cooked. Last time felt it had dropped a notch.. definitely think about hoping again..sad as we go three or four times a year usually.

Great place to eat in. They provide gluten free options and use a separate fryer for this. The batter was the lightest I have had with a good flavour and the portion size is spot on. The only gripe I had was the wait for the fryer to warm up as I was not informed of this, otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board.
