I have celiac disease, so it's always been difficult to find a gluten free place to eat. Kei has been great about this in the past, and for a short period they weren't very good about this, but my most recent visit. So I've re-upped this to 5 stars from 3. I LOVE this restaurant, and they really treat you like family there. They take special care to make sure that they don't have cross contamination in their kitchen if they are made aware of any allergies. There ice cream is local, so they are able to call the manufacturer and find out if the ice cream has traces of nuts, gluten, or whatever. I think this is probably my favorite place to eat in Carson City.
