This is simply superb food – up there with the best of any fine dining we’ve had in NZ and Australia.
As is now common at fine dining restaurants, Kika eschews the traditional entrée-main-dessert in favour of sharing plates of a series of small dishes, and then 1 or 2 mains, a side or 2 and a dessert (if you still have room).
It’s not cheap, but for the quality of the food, service and restaurant setting, it’s well worth it.
There’s plenty of veg, vegan and gluten-free options, and the superb staff will help you make the right choices, and make sure you don’t order more than you can eat.
