Lovely meal in the bistro/bar. Staff were extremely courteous, well trained, friendly, and informative. The food was delicious and well presented. The beef bourguignon, which was the special of the day, was classic and perfect. Roast cod is also excellent, from the varied gluten-free menu. Children's menu and food are also very good. The highlight was the dessert, lemon posset, served with rhubarb, pecans, and lemon sorbet. I can't remember a better dessert, and I've had plenty! All this is set in a wonderful location within the Ring of Gullion. Top notch.

Lovely coffee and cake in beautiful surroundings. After a walk on Slieve Gullion I was able to sit in the sheltered outdoor seating area of the tearoom inside the walled garden. It's as close to dog friendly as you can get without actually going inside. The staff are lovely and the gluten free carrot cake is divine.
