I hate to leave a bad review because the staff and atmosphere were lovely, but the gluten free/dairy free options were lacking. I had the aubergine and fish cakes, aubergine had no flavour and fish cakes were like rubber. My partner however does not have allergies so had the chowder with squid and he said it was delicious. Again, I hate to write a bad review, but want to be honest for those visiting with dietary restrictions.

A grand pint of Sheepshaggers Gold, and some lovely food. When asked, there was no problem to prepare the haddock oven cooked without batter so it was gluten free. We got in just before loads of other people found the pub too. We'd definitely go back there again.
