This is a high class establishment for a nice dinner. The food was delicious and portion sizes reasonable. Most of the items on the menu were not authentic to the colonial era but the waitress told us which ones were, and I ordered those (peanut soup appetizer, game pye entree, syllabub dessert). The decoration was very authentic to a colonial era tavern. It wasn't too crowded at 7:30 on a Sunday evening. Our service was good. Expect to pay at least $50-60 per person before tax and tip.
Not good for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options. There may be 1-2 things on the menu for those diets.
