Fun atmosphere, amazing food, and great live music! We booked a table for 2 for dinner after visiting the stampede grounds. We saw the restaurant as we passed by on our way to the grounds and it looked like a fun place to grab a bite to eat. I’m so glad we decided to give it a try. The band was awesome and the service was great. We ordered 2 drinks and a meal to share. We tried their new “Stampede Bowl” - you pick 2 bases, 1 protein, slaw, pickles, and cornbread. My friend has a gluten allergy and we were surprised at how many items on the menu she could have (fyi: not 100% celiac friendly- shared fryers). We shared the garlic shrimp bowl with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies, and we’re pleasantly surprised at the presentation and flavours. Super impressed! Everything on the plate was absolutely delicious. It was light but filling enough, and the perfect way to end our busy stampede day. Only small complaint is that the prices are a tad high, but it was worth it for a fun night out. And we completely understand that during times like this, food supplies are pricey as well. Overall, we loved our dinner at the King Eddy. We’ll definitely return knowing how amazing the food and atmosphere were.

Wow where to start. I recently got married here and it was truly the best night of my life. The venue was incredible, the sound was awesome, the food just amazing- I can’t say enough good things. We had 100 people attend and there was a great amount of room for tables. The manager (Gabby) helped my partner and I every step of the way plan for the event and set it up- she even created the table layouts for us. The food was all gluten-free, dairy free (by our request due to a number of food intolerances at the wedding) with great vegetarian options and it was all so delicious. The chef even went to far as to make mini personalized carrot cakes for dessert (my favourite dessert). The bartenders were so kind and understanding of everyone getting a little bit rowdy too! My partner and I love live music, and you could tell the staff loved it as much or more than us- and this was evident in the way they interacted with the guests and went above and beyond to make the event special. I can’t say enough good things about getting married here, you’re truly in good hands. If you love live music, I recommend hosting your reception here!
