What a gem. After walking out of two cafes that couldn't provide us with lunch because they've ran out of gluten-free bread or jacket potatoes, we saw the tasty looking menu outside and walked in. Greeted by a friendly bar man who provided a table, and we ended up having an absolutely delicious meal!! Really generous portions, and we didn't have to wait too long either. Best beef chilli I've eaten in a long time, and mother said it was the best kedgeree she's ever eaten. Very glad to stumble across this pub. Will be back when next in the area.
