After a beautiful run around Blorenge we were looking for a good pub lunch and we got it in this place.
Arriving at 2:30pm it was pretty busy, we were told there'd be about a 15-20 minute wait, which we were fine with.
They were able to seat us and we snacked on some lovely olives and a nice ale.
Our order was taken not long after, and the meals came quicker than anticipated. A nice bonus.
We choose here as they offered gluten free roasts, my partner is Ceoliac.
The roast, was according to my partner, yummy. Lovely pork and plenty of beautifully cooked vegetables and potatoes.
I had linguine, mushroom and asparagus. This was absolutely delicious, the mushrooms were fresh and cooked perfectly and unlike many places that serve pasta as a main for vegetarians like myself was a really good sized serving.
The nice young lady with dark hair and a tattoo on her (left?) arm deserves a special mention if only I knew her name. She was very attentive, despite it being a busy day for her and the rest of the staff.
Thank you so much for a lovely Sunday lunch.
