Kings Head Chester

Absolutely outstanding food and service. We booked our annual girls' family meal at a place we always go to but, unfortunately, this year they decided to only serve burger and chips. This was no good for our Christmas get together. We instead booked a meal for 8 people at the Kings Head. We let them know in advance that one of our party was Celiac and would require a gluten-free option. All meals were booked in advance with the deposit paid. On the day, despite being busy, the service was so good it felt like we were the only ones there. Staff with quick with drinks and with food and the portions were absolutely unbelievable. I couldn't recommend it highly enough and we will be back. (In fact I would love to stay overnight in a haunted room!)

Absolutely beautiful place. So historic and stunning inside and out. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Food is gorgeous and they cater for gluten free. Staff are lovely. We will definitely be back here again. Recommend it to anyone who loves a slice of history and a warm welcome 😍 xx
