Disclaimer: I've only had traditional afternoon tea service. My friend enjoys it, so I've gone twice, still not seeing the appeal. I imagine (and heard) the actual Indian food is good.
Afternoon Tea: The tea is very good, Darjeeling, Earl Grey, and premixed chai that's sweet and spiced. Several-course thing with tiny appetizer, scone, sandwiches, including cucumber, and a dessert tower. If you're into British traditions, seems legit. The scones came with clotted cream (and jam).
Fancy tea time will never be my thing, but my friend told them we were gluten-free, and they served us the same menu, only g-free, besides one small puff pastry, including our own g-free dessert tower, which was very nice.
Also, they had a kids' menu, which was really nice, but had a lot of sugar on it--milk shake option, plus 4 servings of dessert at the end--2 cookies, ice cream, and some kind of cake, all for one kid, which to me, is a lot.
So, excellent service, inclusive menu, try some other meal than the tea service, expensive.
