Kirstens Hideout Café

Oh my god, what a fantastic local restaurant! We came for brunch (party of five) on a holiday Monday. We were immediately greeted by a smiling happy employee, and directed to a table. The menu had an excellent selection of old favourites, so everyone was able to order something great. With the choice of gluten free bread, my daughter was able to order a full breakfast. We ended up with three breakfasts and two burgers (one being the daily special). When the food arrived we were all impressed by the presentation and portions. No one was going home hungry today 😋 I can't say enough about the service we recieved. It was soup to nuts excellent without ANY snags. Our waitress/hostess did her job seemingly without effort, while keeping everyone in the restaurant happy. The decor reminded me of happy memories, while being modern and up to date enough so as not to seem dated. So, did we have a good time and eat some great food? Yes. Will we be back? Yes. Will we be recommending Kirsten's to our friends? Yes. Will we be recommending Kirsten's to our enemies? No, they don't deserve it.

We were traveling through Kamloops with a car full of hungry people, a quick google search landed us here. We will 100% come back again. The made me amazing gluten free French toast, the kids said it was the best breakfast, French toast and a massive pancake, they’ve ever had in a restaurant and husband was thrilled with his eggs Benny. The service was quick & friendly! Actually, probably the happiest and friendliest server I’ve come across in a very long time. I can’t say enough good things about this little cafe!
