Kitchen Savages

Our appetizer were the crab egg rolls and the seafood deviled eggs. Both were delicious. The portion sizes for both were 2 items cut in half. I was nearly full after eating those. The egg rolls were crispy and not greasy with lots of crab. For those with gluten allergies, the wrap was not rice, but rather a thicker flour wrap. I had the honey blackened salmon with collards and sautéed (not creamed spinach). The texture of the salmon was perfect (moist yet crispy on the bottom). The greens (with smoked turkey) and spinach were fine. My partner had the catfish with broccoli nice and collards. He enjoyed them. The texture of the catfish looked perfect. It was mildly seasoned. We also had the vegan chocolate cake. It was yummy...think dark chocolate flourless cake. Service was friendly, helpful, accomodating to dietary restrictions and efficient and the atmosphere was very cute. We will be back.

I went to Kitchen savages because not many businesses cater to a gluten free audience. But, the savage fries at $28 were not worth the cost. Really disappointed in the taste and the quantity of shrimp (6) and crabmeat. The crabmeat in total was maybe 1 1/2 tbsp. The owner/manager was really friendly and I wanted to support him. But objectively the food was overpriced.
