I’ve really enjoyed every pastry I’ve tried at Klear Labs. They’re always tasty and never too sweet, which I love. It’s great knowing they use organic, gluten-free, and low-carb ingredients ,it just feels better eating something that’s both delicious and made with care. The place itself is really calm and minimal, which makes it a nice spot to relax. It’s become one of my favourite coffee shops.

Reading reviews of this cafe is a funny experience. Clearly not everyone understands what this place is about. I’ve never been to a restaurant that so perfectly encapsulates the way I want to eat. Healthy, without sugar, gluten and gallons of cows milk. Just the real taste of real organic ingredients. And a lot of choices. Plenty of espresso free drink options, perfect for me, although the coffee menu looks great too. Yes the service is not the fastest but this is not Starbucks thank god. The baked pieces of art on the counter are described in so much detail that it takes some time to make a choice, which might be why the service doesn’t feel like a factory processing line that most of the society is used to. Yes, some parts of the menu are pricey. But this is a special place and I will come back to treat myself to the goodness made with care, and I will happily pay for it. So happy to have found it!

Food was mediocre at best and the customer service was terrible. Me and my friend came in and ordered and then sat outside, we sat and talked for a bit. We had taken out an empanada we had bought down the road and ate as we had our order as well. Then one of the staff, I think it was the owner, came over and crouched down to get in my face and very condescendingly notified us that it was a celiac friendly zone. Something which was NOT well advertised by the signs, all it said was the food was gluten free. Gluten free and celiac are two very different things. She then told us that she would have to wipe down the chair and everything we touched. I myself had I been told respectfully would have completely understood and put it away or apologised. However neither was I told in a respectful member nor was it advertised so I would know. The responsibility of this labelling for target audience of people who require these dietary needs is down to the establishment and owners. I was appalled with how I was spoken to, having myself worked in the hospitality industry and I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy themselves. Having read other reviews I know I am not the only one to feel this way.
