Wow very impressed. My wife is gluten-free and this place took care of her. We asked our server if she could get teppanyaki gluten-free and he assured of the chef would take care of it and use gluten-free soy sauce. The chef prepared hers first and did a great job of avoiding cross-contamination. The server was also very aware of other items that might contain gluten. Most Japanese food could easily be gluten-free, it is just usually just because of the wheat in soy sauce, and my wife often craves Japanese food. We'll come back for sure.

We did dine-in service at Kobe Steakhouse & Lounge and skipped the hibachi because we were craving some good sushi on our honeymoon. As someone who is gluten free, it's hard to find a good variety of sushi rolls, but our server, Gabriel (Gabe), helped me identify and even checked in with the kitchen to ensure the two I ordered were gluten free: the baked Chilean sea bass roll and the Kobe roll. They also had GF soy sauce. They were DELICIOUS and it's been ages since I've had a baked GF roll. Gabe had the best energy and was so kind and great all night. It was the best last dinner in California before we went home.
