Just left with having one of the most disappointing experiences with dinner ever. The server was in such a hurry that he didn’t listen to my order and seemed bothered by accommodating my gluten free needs, although the restaurant advertises gluten friendly options. My wife’s food came and mine did not. I asked the server if my meal would be coming out and he said oh yeah as he ran by. He returned soon after and tossed a bowl of fried rice on my table. That was not what I ordered. He didn’t even wait long enough for me to tell him that. A manager came by so I stopped him to inform him of what had happened. The manager wasn’t really listening to me and more or less defended the server and just said “I’m sure there was some miss communication”. Obviously! When my bill came it had 18% gratuity added and the server asked if that was ok. I told him no it actually wasn’t. The manager returned to explain that everyone eating there is charged that 18% and it’s on the menu. There was no rectifying the situation. My wife’s meal was good but we definitely won’t return and if you happen to get Meki as a server, I would request a new server.
