Last night, I celebrated my Master’s degree at this beautiful Egyptian vegan restaurant, and I honestly don’t think words can fully capture what we experienced. The food was not simply delicious, it was magical. Every bite carried warmth, soul, tradition, and love. You could taste the care in every spice, every dish, every little detail placed on the table like a gift. What touched me even more was the extraordinary kindness of the owners. We had two people in our party with severe celiac disease, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was completely safe, with such attentiveness and care to avoid any cross contamination. That level of thoughtfulness is rare, and it meant the world to us. And the owner herself… what a beautiful human being. Speaking with her felt like sitting in the kitchen of a loving mother, wrapped in warmth and sincerity. She welcomed us not as customers, but as family. There is a softness and generosity in this place that stays with you long after dinner ends. This is not just a restaurant. It is a sanctuary. A little oasis of love, culture, safety, and human connection. A place where food becomes poetry and hospitality becomes something sacred. Thank you for making such an important celebration in my life feel unforgettable. I will carry this evening in my heart for a very long time!!

Dreamy---a plant based delight for the senses! This is my second trip and again I was a solo diner. I was treated to lovely falafel, balady bread, tahini, lentil soup, Egyptian tea, and bread pudding. Everything was fragrant and full of vibrancy like the wonderful restaurant and the warm and fun loving staff. I was lucky to meet the owner and literally dance my way out of the restaurant with a huge bag of food for tomorrow's meals. Thank you Koshari Mama, truly an oasis of hospitality on a cold, dark and rainy evening!!! Note: all food is plant based, many gluten free options.

Service is super friendly and fast, and the vegan menu is great for dairy allergies (many gluten free options, too!) Highly recommend the falafel -- it's green!
