Kranz

We ate there, gluten-free. Zurich schnitzel with rösti and cream of asparagus soup. For a side dish, we had beef liver with cream sauce and gluten-free bread. We also had homemade elderflower iced tea and, for me, a 1/4 dry Pinot Noir. The service was highly commendable and, I must mention, a real treat. The chef, a young man who is a trained chef, came to our table and said, "If you don't have celiac disease, then try our homemade bread." Anyone who has the opportunity to visit the Gasthaus zum Kranz should do so. Being a guest in a cozy atmosphere is a privilege. Here, guests aren't served; they are pampered without being harassed or intimidated. The Gasthaus zum Kranz is worth a visit for its outstanding quality paired with a warm welcome. Whether weddings, business lunches, romantic meals or family reunions, there is always something culinary on offer here. The kitchen is also equipped for people with celiac disease (gluten intolerance). The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are very pleasantly designed. My family and I always enjoy being there.
