This place is a great option for gluten free, even as a Celiac. They have a pretty good gluten free bread (far better than Udis!) which they can use for sandwiches or you can do a lot of the breakfast options and sub it for the toast.
I would guess you can do their smoothies and coffee too, but I forgot to ask.
I tried two different skillets and they were both great! The gluten free toast was delicious with just butter on it.
I was surprised they could accommodate me since it is a bakery, but they did great. I’m super sensitive! If they can keep me safe, I’m confident they can safely serve other Celiacs.
The owner came by our table to see how we were doing. He was very kind and how he responded when I said I was a Celiac made me feel very safe. It sounds like they try to be accommodating for other dietary restrictions or allergies. I was impressed to find a place like this in Quincy.
The atmosphere is coffee-shop-esk but they can serve food like a restaurant too. They have indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of tables to sit down for a real meal. Everyone loved their food (not everyone was gluten free) and my family says their baked goods are delicious too.
I will definitely try them again next time I’m in town. It was great to find another gluten free option in Quincy!
