Krua Panida - Homemade & Healthy Restaurant in Krabi town.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially when it comes to gluten-free options. She gave us great recommendations for things to do in Krabi, which was a nice personal touch. We ended up returning twice during our trip because I was so happy to be able to try traditional Thai food with so many gluten-free choices available. Highly recommend this place!

I debated with myself whether or not should I leave this review, as the owner seemed overly friendly and gave us tips on what to see in Krabi, which I appreciate, but then I saw the comments she leaves on peoples feedback. Bad service all around. Extremely small portion sizes, and overpriced. Unfortunately I didn't even bother to take pictures for proof because there wasn't much to see. We paid around 30 euros for a really small portion of curry, few bites of spring rolls and small plate of pad thai, plus a bottle of water. The worst part of it is that the owner thinks that vegan + gluten free meals should be charged more because they're something "special", when in reality curry and spring rolls for example are almost always naturally gf and vegan. Avoid at all costs.
