Kruse & Muer on Woodward

My husband and I dined here for his birthday back in March. We were both surprised at how small the two 4 oz blackened steaks were for $34. The $23 pan cooked chicken breast was a bit dry and served with the skin and fat still intact. It was an incredible inconvenience and gross mess. I mentioned this to the waitress was it supposed to be served like this? All she said was she didn’t know and do I want her to check for me? When she came back she said that is how they serve it. I shouldn’t have had to take the skin and fat off of chicken as a patron in this restaurant. It's completely unreasonable to expect a customer to prepare their own food in a restaurant. Having to remove skin and fat from chicken is something you'd normally do at home. The $15 gluten free pizza was good and very thin. We haven’t returned and don’t plan to.

The food was amazing and the gluten free pasta was excellent. We both ended up getting the Lobster and Shrimp Fettuccine and loved it. My fiancé got the clam chowder which I wish I would have gotten because it was delicious.
