Found myself in Whitchurch, Hampshire.
Home of the Whitchurch Silk Mill, on the banks of the River Test. Monday the cafe is closed and I found myself in the little village centre. Where Kudos the coffee shop is found. Fresh and modern, Pooch friendly. Good coffee with the lightest lemon triple layer cake. Gluten free. The best lemon cake I've had. Other G.F. options available.
It's sister shop is 2doors down selling interesting and not on the high street gifts, Pooch items, toys and deli goods. I took home the Cornish larger and generous pot of olives.
Park in the free library car park.
