A great place to eat if you're visiting Himeji Castle. Celiacs are welcome: they have 100% gluten-free options. Both the skewers and the rice bowl with plain Kobe beef (no sauce, just salt and pepper) are gluten-free. My partner tried the burger with sauce, and it was also delicious.

The Kobe beef was delicious, but I wouldn’t recommend the other cut (maybe it’s fine inside a burger). Great spot for celiacs too!

Had the kobe beef bowl without the sauce to make it gluten free. It was delicious. The staff were knowledgeable about gluten and told me about the items I could order. You can take everything to go. And it’s right in front of the castle.
