Gluten Free Review: Kyoto does a really good job of accommodating gluten allergies for their sushi and hibachi. I sat at the hibachi table with my party & ordered the gluten free filet & shrimp. The gluten free food is not cooked on the table cook top, they prepare it separately in a dedicated cook top in the back.
Once I placed my order, the waitress took my plate to let the cook know not to give me any food from the table cook top. Our hibachi chef was so much fun. he really worked our table to get us laughing and having a good time. My soup & salad was brought out with everyone else's. My meal was finished earlier than everyone else's & brought out to me while it was hot.
As far as taste, overall it was good. I do wish they served miso soup rather than clear soup. I also am not a fan of their ginger salad dressing, it tastes more like yum-yum sauce than the typical ginger dressing. The hibachi was good, but I had a plate full of filet and only 2 shrimp. I would have thought more shrimp would have come out with my order.
I would definitely eat here again & think this is a great spot to get gluten free hibachi.
