L'Auberge Provencale Inn & Restaurant

5+ stars for our experience at the inn, 3 stars for our experience at the restaurant hence the 4-star rating. We went for 1 night for Valentine's Day weekend and had a super relaxing time. The inn was just what we were looking for...cute room with a little fireplace and close to all the local vineyards. The inn keeper's assistant was very responsive leading up to our stay. In terms of the restaurant, the food was delicious!! The only thing is the service at dinner left quite a bit to be desired, especially for the price point we were paying. Long story short, after waiting ~20 minutes for someone to greet us at our table, we were met with "No one has helped you yet, right? Are you ready to order drinks and food?" No explanation of the menu and it felt very rushed. There were several other things like even though I had called ahead to note my gluten allergy they didn't have that on file and weren't sure at first what they could do, there were several points where we weren't given appropriate silverware for the food, and we weren't asked if we wanted drink refills when our glasses sat there for quite awhile empty. It took us flagging people down to ask for a glass of wine at dinner...Food is great, but again for the price you're paying we expected much better service.

Outstanding dinner and winelist. Impeccable service and happy to accomodate gluten sensitivity. The inn was pleasant but not to the same standards as the restaurant.
