My wife and I stopped in off the street around 1630 on Weds, Oct. 30, 2024. They were able to seat us outside on the side street. Very comfortable seating. They've done a great job with the decor. I ordered the espresso martini, it was good, not an overpowering taste of alcohol - less vodka/more Bailey's - the missus had La Panthere RoseDoña Vega Mezcal, watermelon, basil, mango caviar. She loved the fresh taste of the ingredients, the bursts of strawberry fruit balls capped of this fun and flirty fall drink. We both wanted to eat light, I ordered the small charcuterie board and the French onion soup. The CB was typical and exactly what I was looking for (hard to mess that up), but the soup was one of the best both of us had tasted. The broth was hearty and flavourful while the bread was soft but crunchy. The wife ordered the Niçoise
(seared tuna, shaved egg, kalamata olive, haricot verts, potato, watercress, anchovy <gluten free>) the salad was appealing to her eyes...
The service was great. Taylor was nice, attentive, and sociable. She took the time to get to know us and seemed very excited to be working at Loulou.
