Three of us had dinner last Sunday in this restaurant and we were very well received.
The dishes were excellent and the plates were copious, the scallops, in large quantities, were cooked to perfection and their porcini mushroom sauce was tasty.
The restaurant manager, who welcomed us, did her best to offer me gluten-free options, obligatory for me, by checking the composition of the dishes with the cook.
She thought about how to adapt my dessert, a pineapple carpaccio which should have been accompanied by lemon sorbet in principle, but this sorbet indicated possible traces of gluten.
She therefore had the idea of replacing the sorbet in an even more delicious way than the original recipe in my opinion, by accompanying the pineapple with whipped mascarpone cream and small meringues!
I was thus able to enjoy a dessert like the other guests.
For people with allergies or food intolerances like me, it is best to call before going to the restaurant to get details on the allergen menu, because the La Criée website does not detail them on the downloadable menu.
We had a very pleasant evening, served by a very friendly team.
