This past Saturday, La Famiglia in Glen Cove hosted a mid-afternoon wedding reception for my daughter, and it was completely lovely. It was a last minute request--I booked it about 5 days before!--and Nicole jumped into action and called me back within an hour with a plan. They set up a long table with white tablecloths and napkins for 20 people, and served delicious pasta dishes (several guests said the penne a la vodka was the best they'd ever tasted), cocktails and wine, and a splendid range of delicious desserts, along with cappucino. They even provided gluten-free pasta and desserts for my daughter, who has celiac disease. We sat for a couple of hours, at least, and they didn't rush us at all. The service was friendly and attentive throughout. I am so glad they were able to accommodate us and highly recommend the restaurant for a special event!
