La Forge Bistro Bar & Grill

Told me as a celiac I could have the items on the menu with a gluten free sign. I asked at the hostess stand, they said I had a fryer just for gluten free fries so it's all I ordered to be safe... the waiter brought us drinks then came back and told us oh, sorry the fries have coating on them. As I was already upset my husband can't eat where he wants because of me. It's one thing to not have the food it's another to blatantly lie that celiac can eat here. Do not attempt. Do not believe them. At least our waiter told me their menu lied.....excuse me while I cry in tremblant lol. Just wow. To further this review, we figured out the man at the hostess stand was the manager who yelled at me because I said he lied we did explain that the coated fries are not gluten free. He explained that we didn't serve us so we shouldn't be an issue and we shouldn't he so mad. I've never seen my husband so mad or felt so awful. Please as celiac don't belive them.

Great service by Lucas Léonard who made our dinner incredible! Very reasonable price for the surrounding area, lots of gluten-free options, mussels and sweet potato fries 10/10!
