La Grignotière x L'Étoile Givrée

Discovery of a little gem as I like them!! On the opportunity of a stroll in the village of Moustiers Sainte Marie, in the Gorges du Verdon, next to the Lake of Sainte Croix, we had lunch in this small restaurant nestled in a lovely bucolic garden. Everything is perfect (or almost...) from the decor, to the welcome of the staff, to the meal. The particularity lies in the fact that the menu for breakfast, brunch or lunch is particularly suitable for vegetarians, vegans and/or gluten-free people. The staff is very attentive when ordering and adapts to the needs of the customer, on request, Everything is homemade, made to order and very fresh. The icing on the cake, it is very tasty and refined and well seasoned! Homemade iced teas are very refreshing and well composed. The homemade hummus sprinkled with pomegranates is to die for, the seasonal salad is perfect and the homemade ice creams, such as lavender honey, are to die for!! A little suggestion to the charming ladies who run "La Grignotière": consider adding a seasonal fresh fruit salad to your dessert menu (think about vegans, like me, or lactose intolerant people who can't eat dairy products and therefore no ice cream...) and you'll be close to perfection! 😉 Free parking just above the restaurant. And remember to book because this place is a victim of its own success and professionalism.

Idilic restaurant with very good value for money! The decoration and the menu are extremely original, the products are local, and many gluten-free, vegetarian or even vegan options are offered. This is clearly a great discovery!
