We can give a five-star rating both for a brasserie but also for La Liégeoise. They are not in the same category, of course, but my rating for the restaurant La Ligeoise can only receive the maximum score.
Everything was perfect, taking the reservation, a little reminder the day before to know if we were coming, the very professional and attentive welcome, the respect of my wish to be able to have lunch next to the bay windows, the taking of the order, the efficient ballet of the waiters, the tasty menu in accordance with the choice of having chosen to come and eat à la Liégeoise, the original touch of each dish, the perfect balance of each plate with its touch of discovery and of all these sublimated products, the pleasure of tasting a different and sublime wine to match each dish, (like a 2500 bottle vintage) if you choose the wine suggestions from the sommelier who accompanies each glass with his detailed presentation of the bottle.
You find yourself out of time appreciating and tasting each dish, searching for each taste, loving the combination of products and wine.
I may be too rave, but it's worth the comment with the reality of the experience in this restaurant.
As an example of all their attention; my partner is gluten intolerant, when taking the order, we talked about it together regarding the choice of dishes, without requiring gluten-free dishes, but it was not our great surprise that they took this into account this intolerance by removing everything gluten without distorting the dishes and by also serving gluten-free bread rolls.
It was a very good moment and I thank the Liégeoise for being able at each stage, without any error or false note, to transform a nice moment into a magical moment.
