Food was excellent! Reminded me of upper level Hispanic restaurants in San Diego. They are about quality not quantity and I'm ok with that given the flavor and extra mile put into making the food. Service and talking with managers made us very comfortable as did the ambiance of the place. Had quesa birria tacos and the al pastor tacos...very very good in the house made tortillas. Anxious to go back and try some of the specialty dishes. Also, the queso and especially the chips that came with it...very well worth it. Again, it's the quality of the food and everything else that puts it well above some sun named place and other Mexican places nearby with their boiled food. Last thought, the first thing we were asked after being seated was if we had any food allergies...bonus points with us as my wife has a gluten sensitivity and preparation of our food was handled appropriately.
