We've visited this restaurant three times now in the last couple of months. Being retired, we are able to arrive a little before 5 PM, so we've never had an issue being seated. Our host/hostess has always been friendly. The restaurant is clean, bright, open and airy - there's plenty of room between tables, etc. In three visits, we've had two different servers - Andy and Mateo - both of whom were very cordial, attentive, and professional. Being from LA (as in Lower Alabama), I didn't grow up eating Mexican food, but having lived in SoCal for many years, I do know what I like and Mexican cuisine is probably my favorite ethnic food. The food here is very good - at least to me. I've tried a couple of different dishes and I can say the wrap is tasty and dinner combination #23 is very good. Nothing I've tried it overly spicy, which may disappoint some. Portions are ample. My wife is gluten free and they have no problem making the quesadilla with corn tortillas for her. Regarding the salsa, I totally get the posted comment about it being a little too much like ketchup and I agree - but I don't like cilantro, so I barely dip the chips in it. BTW, the portion of free chips offered is a bit smaller than most restaurants, so it's hard to fill up before the main course. I would not say the menu is limited, but it does seem to offer fewer items than other restaurants we've visited. I've not yet tried their margaritas. Bottom line: while this is not our #1 Mexican restaurant in the area, it certainly is our second favorite. I have no problem recommending it.
