Far from home on a road trip. I’m celiac and eating out is scary. One mistake and the rest of the road trip is a nightmare. Even restaurants who claim gluten free normally have cross contamination issues.
This place is AMAZING! I’m pretty sure it was the owner we spoke to when we went in. I wasn’t sure if it would be safe, as it’s a small hole in the wall place, so we went in to ask. Turns out his dad is celiac, explained their precautions and, since it was only 4pm and slow, he said that was the best time to order if I was worried. We were the only ones there besides take out orders. They have both GF crust or GF cauliflower crust. They change their gloves, don’t cross contaminate their toppings and more to keep your pizza 100% GF.
The crust is 10 inches and thin. I ordered the most controversial pizza of all time. Ham, pineapple, white sauce (alfredo) with extra cheese. I have not had pizza from an actual pizza place for 8 years. I was in heaven. The. Best. Gluten. Free. Pizza. Of. All. Time. You would never know it’s GF. I’m so sad we have to go back to Montana without them, but there just wasn’t enough room in the rental car.
Hours later, I’m fine and looking forward to reheated pizza at the next hotel. Yum.
