A charming hotel: beautiful view from the various terraces and very well cared for in some common areas (breakfast room, entrance and corridor leading to the SPA and the pool) despite the plastic sunflowers and statues that echo ancient Rome. Unfortunately we did not find the same care in the room: clean but the bathroom without a window and in need of renovation contrasted greatly with the rest of the hotel. Furthermore, being particularly hot (mid-July) and being a room located in the attic we had to leave the air conditioning on all the time (even at night). Beyond any complaints about the use of the air conditioning, the real problem was the continuous noise with which that contraption accompanied us throughout the night.
The swimming pool is very characteristic (at ground level on a terrace overlooking the Umbrian hills) but the water was inexplicably green (with the white towel it should be blue and crystal clear). Given the great heat, everyone present took a bath but I admit that it was not at all inspiring!
In the SPA everything went smoothly and it was especially pleasant to be alone in such a large and relaxing environment. The only negative notes: the non-slip mats, which lead to the hydromassage pool, were dirty and the herbal tea dispenser was empty.
Breakfast was in line with our expectations: even I, who am celiac, was served correctly and had the opportunity to eat without enjoying a wide choice of products.
The structure has great potential but I recommend reviewing the rooms and the staff a bit, who often seemed uninterested and not up to the management of a 4-star hotel.
