La Brigade 225

This restaurant deserves five stars for its food quality and ambience. Unfortunately, I am forced to give it four, as the service was terribly slow. I ate here on two consecutive nights during my stay in Rimouski and on both days the speed of service was disappointing. The menu is amazing with plenty of gluten-free options, which is greatly appreciated. However, it took about 10 minutes or longer before a server approached me after I was seated. I did enjoy my dinner on both days, though. The beef steak was incredibly delicious and was cooked to perfection. A shout out to my second server, Anthony, who was very knowledgeable about allergens and reassured me that everything I ordered was gluten-free. The European-style breakfast at this restaurant is also excellent and is very reasonably priced. They even have gluten-free bread and other items. Despite the slow service, I would recommend this restaurant for the food quality and price.

I have celiac disease, and eating out isn't easy; you have to be absolutely certain that the food is gluten-free and free from cross-contamination. After speaking with the chef beforehand, I felt completely at ease, knowing that he fully understood the implications for my health. I ate like a queen, which rarely happens to me. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable—truly delightful! Thank you, Brigade 225.
