La Cascada Restaurant

Very lovely food, had a magnificent steak which was delicious. Staff were well informed. Desert was very limited with only one option: crème brûlée, it was delicious but it would be nice to have been able to choose from a couple of things.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance in Playa de Carmen. The place is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff treated us very cordially. As tourists in the Canary Islands, we ordered wrinkled potatoes with mojo sauce for starters, which were very good. For main courses, we each had a dish. My partner chose a German beef entrecote, and I had rice pudding, which was spectacular. I 100% recommend this place for its value for money, and they take celiac people into account, as they had bread available.

Very disappointing experience. The smallest zucchini I have ever eaten, at €5 each. A baked cheese that came completely stuck to the casserole. The meat was good but the vegetable garnish was 5 pieces counted and raw. We asked for gluten-free bread that never arrived. And all for €50/person, with wine but without dessert. The correct service. I don't understand the note from the restaurant.
