Friends, you have to try the very best truly authentic Mexican food around for miles - La Casita 405 5th Street in Berthoud. It's right behind the bakery. We are biased because the proprietor is our dear friend Maricruz Llamas! They have socially distanced dine-in, an outdoor patio or you can do take-away. The food is divine! There are fantastic vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options as well.
Please make a point of going to La Casita to help grow the business of our dear friend. You won't regret it!

We absolutely LOVE La Casita. Their food is full of flavor, the family who owns the restaurant is welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. We order take out more than our waistlines would like, but our stomach is highly satisfied. The breakfast burritos are delicious, chorizo is my favorite, and the gluten free / vegetarian options are available.
