La Cocina Mexican Restaurant

We are regulars at this wonderful family owned business. The food is delicious and the people are wonderful. This is probably one of our favorite places to eat in St Augustine. The food is always so fresh and consistently delicious. It's a little South on US1 so you won't be fighting traffic and there is ample parking. My new favorite are the Fajitas but I usually get the Carne Asada...my son is a fan of their Chicken Burrito and generally can't leave without dessert!! (Best Tres Leches cake!!) I have a gluten allergy and they are understanding and accommodating! If you have never been to this great restaurant - make sure to stop in for some authentic Mexican food, served with a smile!!

(Great placer to go during Covid! Outdoor dining has been added -servers wear masks!) This is one of my favorite restaurants in St Augustine. It is a family owned gem. We have been going there for 8 years - the food is always delicious -and the owners are just gracious and a pleasure. It is very clean and has a fun decor. The is also a great kids menu!! They have outdoor seating and are very Covid conscious. They also are very accommodating for my Gluten Free requests. Definitely visit and support this delicious, small local business.
