Introduction: I have been to this restaurant six times, five of which were truly excellent but the only time it was supposed to be perfect was a catastrophe.
I went to this restaurant for my 20th birthday, booked by phone and once we arrived we stayed at the entrance for three minutes because no waiter was available to welcome us and cancel our reservation. After we sat down, the menu was brought to us and when ordering they pointed out to us that gluten-free foods were not available, it would have been better to say this when the menu was delivered, in fact my parents had to change the dish. The food was really tasty, there's no denying that. After eating, no waiter came back to collect the dish, in fact we were the ones who called after about forty minutes. My mother had booked a cake in the supermarket and requested that it be brought to the restaurant, she also spoke to a manager who had to inform the waiter to bring it after the main course. At dessert time the waiter, probably unaware of the matter, brought us the menu list, my mother made it clear that we had a paid cake in the fridge and he, falling from the pear tree, began with "you are the ones with the cake", I underline that it was supposed to be a surprise for me that was abruptly ruined by this release. After bringing the cake (closed in the box and with the candles supplied by us also closed in their packaging), he cut it and served it. We asked for a lighter which was brought to us after a few minutes, while the ice cream cake was melting. At the end of dinner we asked for the bill, we were told to go to the cashier but at the cashier we were told that they would bring it to the table, in the meantime the parking has expired but it was given to us as a gift by the restaurant.
A piece of advice, if you have a birthday, reach an agreement between managers and waiters, a surprise shouldn't be spoiled.
Having said that, I will continue to frequent this restaurant because, as written in the first line, I have always had a good time.
